Ales and Tales Tour

Grab a drink, pull up a chair and listen to the tales of those brave men and women who have made their living off the fierce ocean that is the fishing grounds of the North Atlantic. Ales and Tales visits several local Gloucester watering holes where you are immersed in the harrowing tales of those that have gone down to the sea in ships.

The Scoop

On this lively tour, we bring the tales—you grab the ale (or your drink of choice). Local fishing captains will share firsthand stories from their time on the open ocean, from battling wild storms to unexpected encounters with the Russians to daring Coast Guard rescues.
